Carsten Görg, Ph.D.

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

I am an Instructor in the Computational Bioscience Program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Before joining the University of Colorado, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow with John Stasko and Mary Jean Harrold at the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I studied Computer Science and Mathematics as a double major at Saarland University in Germany, where I also received my Ph.D. in Computer Science.

Other Activities

From 2003 to 2005 I tought once a year the course "Softwarevisualisierung -- Methoden und Werkzeuge, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen" (together with Stephan Diehl) for the "Deutsche Informatik Akademie". The goal of this course was to transfer knowledge from academia to industry.
